Published in 2018, the article How far have we got? Considering the options in securing the future of the Suffolk Punch in the United Kingdom, began with the following introduction:
“On 17th April 2018, the Rare Breeds Survival Trust issued their Watch List for 2018 together with another reminder of the potential extinction of the Suffolk Horse in the UK by 2027. Now only nine years away.”
Well, now it is only five years away.
How far have we got in securing the future of the Suffolk Horse in the United Kingdom now that we are almost at February 2022?
